Mid-Week Adult Small Groups

Life is at it's best when it is shared in community with other people on the same journey we are on. This is the goal of the mid-week Small Groups at OLHF.

Meeting in the homes of members on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, these groups are designed to connect you to friends, to God, and to the life we were created to live.

To find a group, or to get more information, please call the church at 903-213-5050 or send an email to Mid-Week Groups. It would be great to help you get connected.

New Hope Class

The New Hope Sunday School class uses the Bible, the internet, and adult Sunday School study materials to infuse the weekly, facilitator-led sessions with interest and lively discussion. We are currently participating in a study of the Holy Spirit.

The group also participates in activities outside the classroom such as game nights, pot-luck dinners, holiday parties, and church mission projects.

Plus, like all good Methodists, Sunday brunch (after class) and other opportunities for dinners out are planned frequently.

The class is comprised of couples and singles aged 50+, and we meet in the Fellowship Hall from 9:45 to 10:30 on Sunday mornings.

S.A.L.T. II (Sharing And Learning Together) Class

Join James Ramsey in the first classroom on the left, when heading towards the fellowship hall, from 9:45 to 10:30 for a deep dive discussion on the days sermon. This is a very interactive class and always has some lively discussion.
